Siri اور Shortcuts
Both actions run as the signed-in user on that device, so anything they do stays on your own account. They require iOS 26 or later with PushWard installed and signed in.
Send a notification with PushWard
Sends a push notification to yourself -- it lands on every device signed in to your PushWard account, exactly like a notification from the API. It takes two fields, a Title and a Message, so in the Shortcuts editor the action reads "Send [Title] with [Message]."
- From Siri -- say "Send a notification with PushWard" and give it a Title and a Message when prompted.
- In a Shortcut -- add the action, then wire its Message (and Title) to an earlier step (a calculation, a web request, the current weather) so the notification carries a real result.
- From an automation -- trigger it on arriving home, a time of day, or an NFC tag so you get a nudge without lifting a finger.
Because the action runs as you, it needs no hlk_ key and counts against nothing --
it is the on-device equivalent of a notification you would otherwise send yourself over the
API.
Show my unread PushWard notifications
Opens PushWard straight to your inbox, filtered to unread notifications. Handy as a one-tap way to catch up on everything that arrived while you were away.
- From Siri -- say "Show my unread PushWard notifications."
- As a shortcut -- add it to your Home Screen, the Action button, or Back Tap for instant access to the inbox.
Building automations
Both actions appear under PushWard when you add a step in the Shortcuts app, and inside Automation when you build a personal automation.
For notifications driven by an external service or a server rather than your own device, use the notifications API or one of the integrations instead.
On Android: Quick Settings tiles and launcher shortcuts
Android has no Siri or Shortcuts app, so the Android app offers two Quick Settings tiles and three launcher
shortcuts instead. Like the actions above, they run as the signed-in user and need no hlk_ key.
- Trigger Action -- a Quick Settings tile that fires one of your widgets' silent webhook actions: a tap, primary or secondary action that has a method, headers or a body. Pick the action under Settings > Quick Settings in the app, which also adds the tile for you (on Android 12, open Quick Settings, tap Edit and drag the PushWard tile into place). The tile shows when the request is sending, sent, or did not go through.
- Open Notifications -- a Quick Settings tile that opens your notification inbox.
- Launcher shortcuts -- long-press the PushWard icon for Open Activities, Open Notifications and Open Widgets, or drag one onto the home screen.
Widget actions themselves are set up through the widgets API.
